Run Jump Throw

Run  Jump Throw
Today I practised shot put and Discus with our coach Andy she has been showing us new skills on how how to throw  Discus and how to throw a shot put. When we were practising on how to throw a shot put she taught us to hold the ball in your fingers and not in your palm. She told us to remember dirty fingers dirty neck and clean palm. We have to keep the ball just under our ear.
Andy also told us to remember to when we are pulling back the shot put to keep our elbow high and to keep your chin and knee and toes all in a row. In Discus the skills that we learnt is to place the disc in your hand but not to grip it. We also learnt when we are throwing the disc to swing the disc with hand you're holding it with, and the clap the disc on your left hand, pull it back and fling it fast.

Here is a reflection of Run Jump Throw. This term for kiwi sport the seniors have been practising Run Jump Throw.
