I have decide to visit chile for the summer learning journey because chile is known to have stunning and impressive landscapes and I think it will be cool to see heaps of beautiful mountains also I think it will be cool to visit chile because of the 887 extant monumental statues on easter island in chile.
Hi Courtney,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the Summer Learning Journey! Thank you so much for participating in the programme. I must apologise for not replying to your post until now! I had expected that everyone would begin the programme today (Tuesday 5 January) and didn't know that you had begun already. I'm thrilled that you have begun!
I am also thrilled that you have chosen to visit Chile. It is a very interesting country and the 887 statues on Easter Island make it even more fascinating, I think!
Much like New Zealand, it has a very rugged and varied terrain. It would be a great place for mountain climbing or bush walking. Do you enjoy tramping, camping or hiking? If not, there is also plenty to do in Chile that doesn't involve the out-of-doors. Santiago is a huge, metropolitan city with museums, gardens, theatres, shops and great restaurants.
I hope that you will continue with the Summer Learning Journey and learn a great deal more about Chile as you go.
All the best, Rachel
Hi Courtney. I loved the photos that you've posted! Especially the snowy mountain. It reminds me a bit of New Zealand. Will you be putting more photos on your blog? I'm looking forward to seeing the next things you post.

Hi Courtney,
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, they enhance your blog post very nicely. I visited South America a few years ago, but I did not get a chance to explore Chile (apart from a brief stopover in Santiago to fly home to NZ). So I am really looking forward to reading your next posts and learning more about Chile!
Cheers,
Carolyn
Well Done Courtney I really like the contry you have chosen
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work
also hope you have fun
