Here is a DLO I created about how to cook Terotero. Terotero is the maori word for pig meat. I found a a recipe on the internet and made it into a DLO about how to cook terotero. 

Tech - 3D printing

Today at Tamaki college the Yr 7 and 8 students went to Tech. The Yr 7 did cooking and the Yr 8 did Art and 3D printing. In 3D printing what we did was we created a DLO about jewellery, we searched for different type of jewellery and named what they are. The purpose of making this DLO is because in 3D printing we are making a type of jewellery for someone that is close to us.`

 Today I commented on 4 blogs,one from a different student in my school another from a school in the  Manaiakalani cluster and one of my friends and on my class blog. I left feedback and feed  forward on the DLO 's and poster's I commented on . Our focus today was to comment on a blog and leave proper feed back and feed forward. Room 5's focus was to be cyber smart and be careful of what we write

Here is a DLO I created using Google drawing. This DLO is about  different way to show your 7 times table, take away and Divided knowledge. In this DLO as you can see I have put in factors and product I found out that it was really easy if I just practised it .

Jobs connections

Here is a DLO I created with one of my classmate Jasmine. This DLO is about careers that are linked to being a doctor. Jobs like being a Nurse, Surgeon, Surgical nurse or a paramedic are all jobs that are connected to being a doctor. Skills like science, English, maths, reading and biology are skills that paramedic, nurse,PHN and nurse aid have in common.

Shake out

Today at 9.15 am Schools and people around NZ participated in the NZ earthquake drill called the shake out. We had to drop under our desks and hold the table legs until it was 9.16 am. I created a DLO with my friends Jasmine and Afu about our experience about the shake out using google slides
