  1. Kia ora Courtney!

It is wonderful to see you back online and blogging about your adventures in Chile. I hope that you had a nice holiday and are excited to be heading back to school in a few weeks.

By participating in the Summer Learning Journey you are really helping to prepare for school by getting lots of great practice with your reading and writing. Ka pai!

I particularly like the list that you made of items to pack for your trip to Chile. It should be quite warm while you're there so it is great to see you taking sunblock, a sun hat and sunglasses. Given the wet and windy weather in Auckland today, it will be a welcome change to go somewhere that you need your sunnies!

Apparently it is going to be wet and windy for the next few days so please don't hesitate to hop back online and keep blogging. I would love to read more about your adventures in South America. I will comment on every post that you make and also assign you points. All of the points will be added up and you will be awarded a badge and a certificate at the end of the summer. If you get enough points you will also be eligible to win prizes! Right now, the 'Top 3' bloggers for the Summer Learning Journey at Panmure Bridge School have 63, 44 and 28 points respectively. You currently have 13 so you are well on your way!

Keep up the great work and I'll look forward to blogging with you again soon:)

    Cheers,

    Rachel

  2. Hi Courtney. Love your list, you're right that you'd need good clothes, shoes, money, passport and phone! With those things, you'd be fine almost anywhere. Hope your 'journey' is taking you somewhere lovely and fun! Suzanne

  3. Hi Courtney!
I'm Pradnaya and I'm a grade 8 student in Canada.

I love how you decided to go to Chile! It seems like a very interesting country.

You're packing list is perfect for the hot weather there. Sunglasses and a hat should be especially useful. It's great that you remembered the essentials on your list, like your phone and passport.

You seem right on track to being one of the top 3 bloggers! Keep up the enthusiasm!

    Good luck,
    Pradnaya
